Ponoka Christian School Auction: Every year we thank the businesses for donating services or items to our annual fundraising auction, but it wouldn't be a success without any buyers.  And this year the turn-out was great. Because of everyone involved we were able to raise $ 67.000— We feel blessed God gives us the means to provide Christian Education for our children. Thank you so much!      The auction committee.

From the Voice of the Martyrs: Nigeria - Thank the Lord that Mary and Uche were safely released. The Christian girls were kidnapped by militant Muslims.  The parents were told that they had converted to Islam and could not be released. The police evacuated the girls who were then reunited with their parents.  Ask God to strengthen those affected by the mob who destroyed six church buildings and shops belonging to Okoye’s foster father  to remain steadfast as they suffer  for Him (Revelation 2:10).Pray that young Christian girls in Nigeria who have been kidnapped by Muslims will remain strong in faith and be freed.

Bridal Shower: All ladies are cordially invited to a bridal shower to celebrate the upcoming weddings of Sandra Lindemulder to Ferdinand Vander Vlugt, as well as Bethany Plantinga to Garry Stolk. The shower will take place on Tuesday, June 3rd at 7:30 at the church.  Please bring a snack and come enjoy an evening of fellowship to celebrate the wonderful gift of marriage for these two couples!  See you there!

June 8, 2008 Assuming the Gospel
